Extracts from our Green Transport Policy In order to reduce the carbon footprint left by visitors to Chaffeymoor Grange and to help minimise the number of private cars on the road, we actively encourage guests to use alternative forms of transport. Visitors may travel by train to either Gillingham Railway Station (London Waterloo approx. 2 hours, Exeter approx. 1 hour 20 minutes) or Castle Cary (high speed link to London Paddington approx. 1 hour 45 minutes) and can be met at no extra charge. Similarly, a coach service runs from London Hammersmith to Wincanton, where guests can be met. Timetables are available on request. For journeys made during your stay, we are happy to arrange minibus or coach hire, reducing the environmental impact of your journeys and at the same time allowing you freedom from the stresses of private motoring.
